Profielnorm was approached by the U.S. division of a larger company specializing in roller conveyors and automation. They were in search of a trusted manufacturer capable of delivering high-quality, custom-made mezzanines—both in Europe and the United States. Their immediate need: a 16,000 sq.ft. mezzanine to support conveyor systems in a brand-new deep-freeze mega warehouse in the U.S.
After a visit to Profielnorm’s headquarters in the Netherlands, the client was confident in our capabilities and awarded us the project.
The mezzanine would play a key role in the facility’s automated logistics system, specifically in handling pallets. The distribution center was designed to streamline fulfillment: food items would arrive on designated pallets, be combined with other goods, and then repalletized for fast, accurate deliveries to customers.
The project was delivered on time and to specification. A year later, the state-of-the-art distribution center was officially opened—with a celebratory visit from the Dutch Royal Couple, marking a proud milestone for both the client and Profielnorm.
