Profielnorm USA officially opens new manufacturing facility in Michigan
Profielnorm USA has officially opened its new manufacturing facility in Plainwell, Michigan, marking a major milestone in the continued international expansion of PRN Group. The opening represents a significant step forward in strengthening the company’s presence in the United States and deepening its long-term commitment to serving American customers with local production and support.
On Tuesday, April 21st, the new facility officially opened its doors. Following the initial announcement and construction phase last year, the site is now operational, with production already underway. While internal outfitting and further expansion continue, the foundation has been firmly laid for scalable, sustainable growth in the years ahead.
A milestone celebration with local and international partners
The official opening brought together colleagues, partners, and local representatives, alongside international guests. Colleagues from across the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Poland also joined via livestream, reflecting the strong global connection within PRN Group. Speakers at the ceremony included:

Following the official opening ceremony, the celebrations continued throughout the day. Guests first enjoyed an extensive shared lunch, offering a relaxed moment to connect, reflect, and celebrate the achievement together. In the afternoon, the group travelled to the renowned Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners. The location provided a unique and inspiring setting surrounded by more than 300 classic cars and motorcycles. Guests had the opportunity to explore the collection and even experience rides in vintage vehicles, driven by knowledgeable tour guides. The day concluded with an evening dinner, bringing together colleagues, partners, and guests one final time to mark the occasion. It was a fitting end to a day defined by connection, pride, and celebration of what has been achieved in Michigan.

As demand for mezzanines and warehouse solutions continues to grow across the US, having a local manufacturing base allows us to respond more efficiently while staying directly involved in every stage of our customers’ projects.
While the interior outfitting at the facility is still ongoing and the production hall continues to evolve, the team is already fully focused on scaling operations and preparing for the next phase of growth. With production now underway locally, our systems are proudly made in the USA. Local employees are actively being trained to ensure equipment is operated efficiently and in line with the established quality standards of PRN Group.
